Will glow under a black light…now to change the bulb

around 8 pm we start the ritual of bedtime.
Up the stairs, puck out tomorrow’s clothes (me telling her she can’t wear them right now) , bathing and tooth brushing.

Last night we also had to brush the teeth of her babydolls. Wierd, but it means something to her and sweet that she has the instinct to nurture….but wierd.

Prayers, cuddles and I meant to slip away.

Because I have trash to throw out and a shower of my own to take and my phone is almost out of power…

So of course I fell asleep next to her until 4 this morning and only woke up because she was giggling in my ear.

Being an adult and parenting is much different than my parents are it look.
I had some unrealistic ideas and funny but true adult victories.

My Grandma didn’t see herself in this photo I posted to FaceBook.. so here it is. She is in all the red circles. I only show up in this 2x. My Cousin Cali and I are tied!

At her new school

Today was a perfect "Our Town" kinda of day.
Lots of "I love you’s" and snuggles and basic family moments of life.

Cooking , shopping, packing lunches and every day activities.

Joy comes on small moments and today was a perfect collection of them.

List. Coupons. Meal plan . Reusable grocery bag. We will be packing lunches for her from here in out and making dinner together.
