Darla is expensive
Last year I enrolled her at The Playground, a young actor’s conservatory.
She loves it. But wow: the price!
Was it wrong to do a Facebook fundraiser for this? Possibly.

It would be lovely if she got a meaningful amount for child support that would help pay for this however all of the child support she’s received so far this year wouldn’t cover the cost of childcare for the summer… Gee thanks, D.C. Nelson.
Never doubt
Today Darla I called her great-grandmother and told her I left her home alone while I went grocery shopping. The grocery store is about half a mile down the road.
Hiding notes
It is Parent Orientation for 3rd grade I’m sitting here hiding notes in Darla’s desk.
I always think this dress looks like Mork from Orc.
Home builder
She made this in After School care. I won’t tell you how much paint is on her shirt.
Last night she had a bloody nose, followed by a raging headache lasting all of today.
At the nurse’s office she said she didn’t want me to come get her- I had to stay at work with the people who annoy me.
Gee- thanks kid.
Flower girl
The corn is as high as an elephant’s eye… And the flowers are getting pretty tall as well.

Audition Night at Gary Spatz’s The Playground
Lately Darla has been telling me “I don’t need to go to Medical school when I can play a Dr. On T.V.”
