Gosh darn it, in the middle of dinner my beautiful girl started crying amd saying she is sorry she makes so many mistakes because she knows she is the reason Donald Charles Nelson abandoned her.
Fuck you, DC Nelson. Fuck. You. She turns 7 in 2 weeks and I don’t know how long she has been blaming herself for your shit.

December Spirit week
Darla teacher sent me this adorable picture of her wearing holiday antlers. I would really love this picture except for the fact that life keeps running through her classroom and if she gets those bugs again her teacher and I are going to have an awkward talk while I have her help me pull out nits.

After spending the morning with my dad, Darla asked if she can go see her angel grandma.
She is now wandering through the tombstones and is completely at ease. I am sitting in the car driving around following her. I think it’s weird but she is happy.
