Darla's Mom

This morning was an adventure of motherhood. I like infant children because they don’t require a lot of thought ; you just have to constantly be awake and functional . Children are more work. This morning my conversation with Darla covered the bases.

It started with her telling me that she can not taking nap at school because her Dodger blanket has wolves in it. They howl at her while she tries to nap and they keep her awake.

She was telling me that there is a girl at school who always wants to play with her but she does not want to play with this child I tried to explain to her that the appropriate response is "thank you for your patronage but this is establishmet does not serve your ilk". Then she told me that she doesn’t want to play with anybody at school and she just wants to be left alone but then she doesn’t know why she is alone.
3 year olds are complicated people

Are so cool! Darla fell asleep while playing with 2 of them. I melted a 3rd and put dots on her cubbies and lamp and light switch so when the lights are turned iut, she has something to look at and think about other than "it’s dark and I can’t see anything!".

It worked!
But it will probably only work tonight. She is smart and catches on to all of my nefarious plans to keep my bed all to myself.

Sure, they were on clearance, but I don’t care. The girls in the office will be so proud!

Or just walking on tip toe… she says she is growing.

This was totally worth it , especially watching game her cousin to them and tell me to whom she wanted to gift some.

I blame Susan C. I bought hand made soap from her and it smells delicious it also inspired Darla to ask if she can make some of her own.
We burned a hole though ought measuring cup and super heated the base…but look what we did!
