Wet. So wet! I am glad that I can extra clothes in my car. We had a great birthday party event yesterday with cardboard cars and outdoor movies and a splash pad for my friend’s daughter

Darla lost weight in the last month, between find uniforms and today. She wanted to wear her t-shirt for school which is allowable on Fridays. This meant she needed to wear shorts or pants and all of them fell right off of her. So she is wearing her little hot shorts which hopefully won’t get her in trouble.

She also picked out her own socks. They are however and the school colors

As is evident by the sunflowers. Last spring Darla and I were planting in our backyard when she asked if we could visit our neighbor, Lisa.

I suspect she pocketed the seeds and planted them while waiting for Lisa to open the door.

This is from the 15th time she re-wrote this page. She was "writing a story" for her teacher.

It is Armageddon behind my house. Empty cars double parked down the block while kids are picked up.. Stacked parking in the intersection of Dronfield Ave and Carl: 3 cars deep. I’m thinking they did NOT do a traffic study before building the school.

I saw Darla and met her after school program driver. I’m going to let her chill at the park and get a feel for it for a while before I go get her.

I’m not a helicopter mom, I am a paranoid mom who likes to watch how things work.

Oooh, you can buy t-shirts from the school on the sidewalk to the left of campus and corn with chili and mayo from a cart on the right side. Living in LA does have perks.
