My dad has become the men we used to mock. He hooked up with a manipulate woman who tells family and friends that she is secretly in control of my dad and grandma.

And she is not wrong.

So, pretty much it is like he is dead. He doesn’t call, he doesn’t visit, and when I invite him to lunch I am supposed to be thankful he was let off the leash for a few hours.

Yes, thankful.

And that is why you don’t see as many photos of Darla and Lloyd Keith together as often as you did a few years ago.
