She made this in After School care. I won’t tell you how much paint is on her shirt.

Last night she had a bloody nose, followed by a raging headache lasting all of today.

At the nurse’s office she said she didn’t want me to come get her- I had to stay at work with the people who annoy me.

Gee- thanks kid.

The corn is as high as an elephant’s eye… And the flowers are getting pretty tall as well.

Darla starts the third grade tomorrow. because her charter school is split in half, the third grade is on a different campus. We took this morning to do a dry run of getting up and dressed and out of the house on time. Apparently we are the only family that’s it’s Byron. We met that school administrator and took a little walk around campus so she feels more comfortable
