School from Home
Darla is meeting with her class and teachers via ZOOM.
I am watching from the office. She moves too much and of course, insists on taking the call from my room which is not lovely (at the moment). 
This is so surreal. We are reinventing education as we go. I am so thankful to Ms. Walker and Fenton Charter schools.
I might be even more thankful if Darla would stop trying to hold her cats up and have them join class!

Chumash research
About 20 miles away, in Thousand Oaks, there is a Chumash Indian museum.
We checked it out so Darla could see the village before building her diorama. She currently has our kitchen table covered in a cinnamon/apple sauce mixture molded over plastic Easter egg shells.
